Roman Castrum is a reconstruction of a Roman fortress, unique in Italy, where you can see how the Roman legionnaires of 2000 years ago lived in roman Sardinia. You will see the fortified structure, the lodgings of the soldiers, weapons and armor, artillery, latrines, oven, blacksmith's workshop, infirmary and all the objects and kits of the soldiers. You have the opportunity to go back in time and discover more about the fascinating history of the ancient Romans. Ideal for families and children, it mixes discovery with fun!
The Roman Castrum museum is open from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

For groups with a minimum number of 12 participants, there is the opportunity to live an even more special experience: a day as a legionnaire! A perfect activity for schools, especially elementary schools.
Beginning at 9:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm, in addition to the museum visit, you will carry out some of the ancient tasks that were the task of soldiers and women: military training, use of artillery equipment, preparation and baking of bread and cleaning of ditches. There will also be recreational and educational activities such as obstacle courses, duels of swords and shields (rubber) and a visit to the nearby Equestrian Center.
