In the heart of Barbagia, in Fonni, you can learn about customs, customs and traditions depicted in murals that "tell" stories and scenes of everyday life of the past. After the packed lunch, you will discover one of the most characteristic villages of Barbagia, Orgosolo, symbol of barbaric resistance. Starting from the "ghost" village of Pratobello, now abandoned, theater, at the end of the 60’s, of a famous "occupation" by the Orgolese population. To prevent the construction of a military base, the inhabitants occupied the territory, thus preventing the realization of this project. After the "motions" of Pratobello, the feeling of rebellion against the oppressive state grows in the Orgolese and this gives rise to different forms of protest. One of these is represented by the murals, spectacular manifestations of social disappointment depicted along the streets of the country. Last stop at the Silkworm Museum, unique in its kind, you will have to follow different craftsmen in the various stages of processing, with engaging descriptions and anecdotes.
