Discover the wonderful world of bees with an immersive experience just a stone's throw from Alghero in north-western Sardinia. Guided by an expert beekeeper, you will discover the incredible role these small insects play in the balance of the ecosystem. Through an engaging introduction, you will learn about bee behaviour, the importance of pollination and their impact on our environment. During the experience, you will have the opportunity to explore the blooms and native plants of Sardinia, which give local honeys unique aromas and characteristics closely linked to the biodiversity of the area. From April to July, you can visit the hives and observe the frenetic life of the hive up close: from the queen to the tireless workers. At the end of the tour, a food and wine tasting will allow you to discover the excellence of Sardinian honey: from delicate wildflower honey to fragrant asphodel, from strong thistle honey to intense and rare arbutus honey, paired with local cheeses, traditional bread and a good glass of wine.
