Between nature and abandoned mines from Villacidro
Description
A trip to the southwest of Sardinia, to discover the history and stories of the miners, the archeology and the flavors of a unique land. Starting from the magnificent Sa Spendula waterfall in Villacidro, you will live an experience that will take you to explore the nature and history of Sardinia. You will explore Piscinas, following a wild itinerary that will leave you breathless. You will find suggestive ruins of the structures of the mining period. Piscinas beach is a unique place in Sardinia and throughout the Mediterranean: a habitat with the characteristics of the desert made up of low plants such as juniper and mastic, which interrupt the ocher yellow of the high dunes. From Piscinas we move towards the village of Montevecchio. Here an ancient mining structure, renovated and made accessible, houses a craft brewery that will give you the opportunity to savor the tastes of beers and local products. Alternatively, a fresh pasta laboratory, followed by tasting in a farmhouse surrounded by nature. In any case, impossible to be disappointed!
