Monte Tiscali, in the center of Sardinia, houses a mysterious settlement that has always intrigued and fascinated its visitors. Come and explore it, you will reach its top of 516 meters above sea level with a hiking excursion to dominate the entire Lanaitho valley. A valley nestled between the Supramonte mountains of Oliena and Dorgali, gateway to the innermost areas of the karst massif. The path follows old traces of shepherds and mule drivers of charcoal burners, climbing towards Monte Tiscali between corners of rough and uncontaminated Supramonte, among centuries-old junipers and majestic holm oak specimens. In about an hour and a half of walking you arrive at the entrance of the sinkhole. Inside, among the lush vegetation, a path created close to what remains of the ancient cave will take you to know and discover the remains of the archaeological settlement.
