Gulf of Orosei

A wild, unspoiled coast with majestic mountains that plunge into a clear blue sea. This is the east coast in its most central area, that of the Gulf of Orosei which encompasses some of the most beautiful and suggestive coves in Sardinia: Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriola, Cala Goloritzè, Cala Sisine and the Piscine dei Venere. In addition, it houses some wonderful caves: the Grotta del Fico and the Grotta del Bue Marino.

Impossible not to be breathless when you are immersed in the colors and scents of this area.

Characteristic are the rocks of this coast, some anthropomorphic, mostly overlooking the sea, which characterize the whole territory. Here you can hear the oldest history of the island, where for kilometers and kilometers of coasts there are no constructions or, in general, the hand of man.

It is the ideal place to disconnect from daily routine and stress, to enter into harmony with nature and enjoy regenerating baths.

Excursions and experiences in the Gulf of Orosei

For sure, the most relaxing excursions that allow you to touch all the most interesting areas are those by dinghy. Departing from Orosei or Cala Gonone, you can explore the entire east coast among its exclusive coves and beaches (some reachable only by sea!). Dives and fun are assured, in comfortable dinghies guided by local skippers who can tell anecdotes and curiosities related to the history and nature of the area.

For those who love to walk, there are fascinating trekking routes. You descend along ancient paths that lead to the most beautiful creeks, so you don't miss a single detail of the landscape and conquer your destination slowly.

Quad and off-road tours, on the other hand, are dedicated to those who like to explore the more inland areas, on dirt trails that allow you to discover all the beauty of the area.

Finally, there are kayak tours, ideal for those who love the sea and caves. Thanks to the small size of the boats, you can enter coves forbidden to boats and dinghies. Paddling in the blue of this coast is an indescribable experience, and every effort will be repaid by the beauty of nature!
