Discover the art of Sardinian myrtle in the Olbia territories for an authentic experience in the heart of eastern Sardinia. You'll find yourself in a unique location overlooking the Gulf of Marinella, where you'll walk among the natural cultivations of myrtle selected with care and passion for generations. You will then visit the production workshop and discover how the berries become uniquely and distinctively scented liqueurs and the steam still where the harvesting and production cycle starting from the plants themselves will be explained. Expert guides will accompany you on this sensory experience culminating in a tasting of myrtle in combination with various products and an olfactory tasting of fine essential oils.  You will experience an irresistible journey through the flavors and scents of Sardinia!
  • Myrtle tasting is available from 18 years of age
  • Young people aged between 6 and 17 will be served fruit juice, bread with cured meats, cheese and some ice cream

TASTING

The tasting consists of 4 types of myrtle:

  • 2 cl of myrtle berries accompanied by pecorino cheese
  • 2 cl of myrtle berries and leaves accompanied by typical Sardinian cold cuts
  • 2 cl of white myrtle berries accompanied by dark chocolate
  • 2 cl of myrtle berries and honey served on artisanal ice cream (stracciatella or vanilla)

This is followed by an olfactory tasting with three 100% pure essential oils of:

  • myrtle berries
  • wild lavender
  • lentisk
  • rosemary
