Depart from Cagliari, in southern Sardinia, to enjoy a day of fun, nature and history: accompanied by an expert guide, you will walk on the beautiful plateau of the Giara di Gesturi, to learn more about the Mediterranean maquis and look for the famous wild horses. The second stop will be to discover the nuraghe of Barumini, the most important archaeological site of the island, built around 1400 B.C. and the only UNESCO site in Sardinia. Before returning to Cagliari, you will visit the Archaeological Museum of Casa Zapata, the ancient residence of the noble family who ruled the country in the Spanish period, where today are preserved the findings of the archaeological site.
