Visit Monte d'Accoddi, the only temple with a ziggurat structure in the western Mediterranean
Discover the ancient Domus de Janas by Su Crucifissu Mannu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2025
Discover the oldest origins of Sardinia with a guided tour of the two most important archaeological sites in the north-western territory of the island: the Sanctuary of Monte d'Accoddi and the necropolis of Su Crucifissu Mannu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2025. A few kilometers from Porto Torres and Sassari, we will immerse ourselves in a journey through time to discover the civilizations that inhabited Sardinia more than 5,000 years ago.
Accompanied by an expert archaeological guide, you will explore the Sanctuary of Monte d'Accoddi, a unique monument in the western Mediterranean, often referred to as the 'Sardinian ziggurat' for its particular structure.
Our journey will then continue to the necropolis of Su Crucifissu Mannu, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, where there are ancient rock-cut tombs, known in Sardinia as “Domus de Janas,” dating back to the 4th millennium BC. Through the guide's story, you will understand the ancient beliefs and the relationship of the oldest Sardinian populations with the spiritual world.
An ideal cultural and archaeological experience for those who want to learn more about the history of Sardinia and discover authentic places, far from the most popular tourist routes.
