TASTING
The company, the only one in Sardinia in the cultivation and sale of fresh berries, is located in the countryside of Tempio Pausania, at the foot of Mount Limbara, among olive trees and berry plants.
Following in-depth studies of the climate and the nature of the terrain, these three different distillates were born:
- Lìcchitta (‘delicious’ in Sardinian dialect): a distillate of blueberries, white and red gooseberries, blackberries, white and red currants
- Melalione (‘arbutus’ in Sardinian dialect): a distillate of arbutus, the fruit of the Mediterranean maquis, characterised by six months' ageing in acacia barriques
- Làndhe (‘acorn’ in Sardinian dialect): a distillate of 100% cork acorn, a raw material never before distilled in the world
PROGRAMME
- The guided experience begins with a short walk through the berry orchard and an explanation of the berry distillate
- Afterwards, upon entering the distillery, the guide will tell about the strawberry distillate and briefly introduce the small farm
- This will be followed by an explanation of the acorn distillate and all the machinery in the distillery and its use
- In conclusion, there will be a tasting session with samples of all three distillates accompanied by sweet and savoury pairings
At the end of the visit, the guide will accompany participants back to the meeting place.
