  • All transportation is included throughout the journey. You’ll travel in an air-conditioned minibus or van, allowing you to relax and enjoy the trip without having to worry about the logistics.
  • The entire itinerary is led by a local tour leader, sommelier and food expert who will share an in-depth knowledge of Sardinia, its culture and its food and wine traditions with the group.
  • The journey is open to solo travelers and couples and is designed for adults who enjoy sharing their travels with like-minded people who are passionate about local culture, great food, wine, nature and discovering a destination beyond the usual tourist routes. Due to the pace of the days and the type of activities included, this experience is not recommended for families with children.
  • Some experiences may be subject to minor changes depending on the season, weather conditions or the availability of local producers and hosts. PROGRAMME

The itinerary below reflects the main structure of the journey but is not set in stone. As we continue working with our local partners and carefully refining every detail, some experiences, locations or timings may change.

This is not a rigid schedule of events and timings, but a thoughtfully designed journey intended to immerse you in the island’s culture, traditions and way of life.

Our goal is to create the most meaningful and authentic journey possible, making sure that every element tells the story of the Sardinia we are passionate about sharing with our guests.

 

Day 1 
Coastal roads and medieval villages

  • From Alghero, where Italian and Catalan influences have shaped a unique identity, follow one of Italy’s most spectacular coastal roads to the colorful town of Bosa, set along the Temo River.
  • Stroll through medieval streets, discover local traditions and traces of the past, then get your first taste of Sardinia with a tasting of fragrant Malvasia wine.
  • Continue inland toward Santu Lussurgiu, where the landscapes and traditions of a quieter, more traditional Sardinia begin to unfold.

Day 2 
Sinis Peninsula: between ancient history and natural landscapes

  • Arrive at the Sinis Peninsula, where the history of ancient civilizations meets the rural character of the region, surrounded by a distinctive lagoon teeming with life.
  • Explore archaeological treasures, discover the rich ecosystem of the Cabras lagoons and taste one of Sardinia’s most celebrated delicacies: bottarga, cured fish roe.
  • The day continues with a traditional culinary experience inspired by age-old customs passed down through generations.

Day 3 
Barbagia: the ancient heart of Sardinia

  • Leave the coast behind and head into Barbagia, the mountainous heart of the island, where traditions run deep and villages tell their stories through murals, masks, craftsmanship and pastoral culture.
  • Discover the world of Cannonau wine and taste some of the dishes that best represent the spirit of Sardinia.
  • This day is dedicated to the identity, history and extraordinary hospitality of central Sardinia.

Day 4 
Slow life, rural traditions and Sardinian hospitality 

  • Travel farther away from the busiest and most crowded routes and immerse yourself in the rural side of Sardinia.
  • Spend time with local residents, discover how traditional cheeses are made, cook together using seasonal ingredients and wild herbs, and learn about the simple rituals that have shaped island life for generations.
  • Connect with local traditions and discover the beauty of genuine Sardinian hospitality.

Day 5 
Alghero and the Riviera del Corallo

  • Return to Alghero to explore a city where different cultures have come together for centuries, creating a unique blend of influences.
  • Discover its Catalan heritage, wander through the atmospheric streets of the historic center and learn about the ancient coral-working tradition that has made this stretch of coastline famous. Then enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace.
  • In the afternoon, dive into a wine-focused experience before sitting down to a memorable dinner featuring fresh local seafood.

Day 6 
Castelsardo and Northern Sardinia

  • Today, visit Castelsardo, one of Sardinia’s most beautiful medieval villages, dramatically perched above the sea.
  • Discover centuries-old artisan traditions, explore its distinctive atmosphere and experience the flavors of northern Sardinia through an unforgettable culinary experience.

Day 7 
Wild Sardinia: the Asinara National Park The

  • Nature takes center stage today as you explore one of the most extraordinary and unspoiled corners of Sardinia, where crystal-clear waters, wild landscapes and centuries of history exist side by side.
  • Take a day to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience the quiet beauty of Asinara National Park.

Day 8 
Goodbye Sardinia!

  • Bring the journey to a close with a moment to look back on and share some of the most memorable moments of the past eight days.
