Kayak excursion: depart from Scogliolungo and explore the coast of Porto Torres

In the north-west of Sardinia, in the charming town of Porto Torres, you can go on a guided kayak excursion from a beach easily recognizable thanks to the sculpture of a dolphin on a rock in the middle of the sea: Scogliolungo beach.
Our expert guide will accompany you on a dynamic tour, but suitable for beginners, with which you can discover this rugged coastline, characterized by rocky cliffs and overhanging walls. You will make a refreshing stop in a small hidden beach, Scoglioricco, or in the beautiful Balai, and then continue the tour by passing several caves, which can only be seen from the sea.
The route is 8 km long and includes the following stages:
- Departure from the Scogliolungo Beach
- Navigation towards the Freshwater Beaches
- Passing in front of 2 or 3 caves chosen by our expert guide. It is not possible to enter the caves due to local regulations on the protection of marine habitats and for safety reasons
- Stop for about 15 minutes on the beach at Scoglioricco or Balai
- Return
The itinerary is subject to change based on sea weather conditions.
EQUIPMENT HIRE
Included in the participation fee is the rental of:
- Kayak and paddle
- Waterproof mobile phone bag (one per group)
- Inflatable waistcoat
60 single-seater kayaks are available.
AVAILABLE TIMES
The experience is available daily at 8:55 am. From 1 June to 15 September it is also available at 18:00.
