THE REFUGE

The refuge is the result of Alice's big dream: to live in harmony with nature and animals. After leaving Rome to settle in Sardinia, she devoted all her energy to making this project a reality. Thanks to the support of numerous supporters and personal sacrifices, she managed to create a welcoming environment for more than 150 animals, rescued from dangerous situations such as slaughterhouses, abandonment or exploitation. Alice shares, "Freedom is at the heart of this place, even if it involves sacrifices to ensure the peaceful coexistence of different species. However, every commitment is repaid by the joy of seeing a goat, once destined for slaughter, run free in our spaces."

The experience is available at the following times:

• January through March, Monday through Wednesday at 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m;
• in April and May, Monday through Wednesday and Friday at 4:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
• in June and July every day except Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m;
• in August every day except Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm;
• in September every day except Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 pm;
• in October Monday through Wednesday at 4:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 am and 3 pm;
• in November and December, Monday through Wednesday at 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
