Cala Goloritzè is one of the most fascinating places in Ogliastra, on the east coast of Sardinia. With this trekking route, you will venture along one of the most evocative paths that will take you to the famous and stupendous Cala, a naturalistic jewel set on the Ogliastra coast. The route, which winds among white limestone paths, will be fascinating not only for the wild beauty of the surrounding nature, but also for the particular geology of the area.
You will get a close-up view of the Aguglia di Goloritzè, a natural monument and a popular destination for climbers from all over the world, and the rocky arch over the water, an icon of the place, that dominates the tip of the promontory north of Capo Montesanto. You can also admire the white, characteristic beach, and of course the crystal-clear waters where you can dive and enjoy pure moments of peace. IMPORTANT
Access to Cala Goloritzè is limited to 250 people per day, with a ticket price of €7 per person. Reservations open 72 hours in advance and it is important to book immediately, as places fill up quickly during busy periods.
The hike is recommended for people in good psycho-physical health, who are used to mountain trails with both uphill and downhill gradients and rocky paths
This trek is not recommended for women in an advanced state of pregnancy. Children must already be accustomed to long walks
From the meeting point indicated on the map, you will then have to follow a stretch of road (at some point offroad) always with your car
