  • Hike to Monte Corrasi: reach the highest peak of the Supramontes with breathtaking views

  • Lunar landscapes and untouched nature: orchids, Peonies, and the extremely rare Nepeta Foliosa

  • Traces of pastoral past: discover the pinnettos along the Supramonte trails

Monte Corrasi is the highest peak of Sardinia's Supramontes, from its height of 1463 m. dominates the whole area of Barbagia, pushing the gaze to the coast of the Gulf of Orosei. The path that starts from Tuones at about 1050 m.s.l.m. it will take you to the top through an almost lunar environment, with rare large trees that peep out among the white limestone expanse softened in the spring summer months by beautiful and rare blooms (orchids, Rosa Peonia, helichrysum and Santolina) and a rare endemism which grows only here: Nepeta Foliosa. The limestone wall has always protected the Supramonte and the same Corrasi while still keeping it uncontaminated. The only traces of man are the pinnettos: ancient sheepfolds of the shepherds who lived in these lands.
  • After the meeting with the guide, you will make a transfer by Jeep to the starting point of the trek
