In the territory of Oliena, in the heart of Sardinia and the Supramonte, you will participate in an adventurous trek and, immersed in the woods of holm oaks and mastic, you will cross the majestic canyon of Horojos, up to the cave of Sa Nurre de Su Hoda. Following the traces of the first explorers, you will wear a speleological helmet to enter safely inside a narrow tunnel in which our expert guide will explain the importance of natural cavities in the pastoral world, its many uses and will make you relive the story. The highlight will be to be able to admire how a single ray of sun will be able to penetrate the absolute darkness of the cave from a small cavity in the upper wall, giving a scenery that will leave you enchanted, managing to illuminate an underground environment up to 100 meters high. This experience is not suitable for those who are not used to walking in the mountains, those who suffer from claustrophobia, or those with any type of reduced mobility. Children aged 3 to 7 can participate if they are already accustomed to hiking or long walks.
It is recommended to use a backpack carrier for those joining this experience with very young children, as the path is not suitable for strollers.
The trail leading to the cave is rocky, of medium-easy difficulty, and does not require any special skills.
