This guided trek will take you through stretches of ancient holm oak and strawberry tree forests, which have survived the axes of loggers from past centuries. The route is particularly scenic and evocative, featuring towering rock walls, lush Mediterranean scrub, and the intense fragrances of nature. Upon reaching the canyon, you'll venture among large white boulders smoothed by water erosion and stand beneath sheer cliffs rising 500 meters above sea level. An extraordinary landscape where beauty and grandeur are guaranteed!
ROUTE
- You will walk along a downhill dirt road of about 4 km to get to Gorropu
- The Canyon tour is 2 km long with some sections of ‘Expert Hiker’ difficulty (EE)
- There is a 4 km climb back to the meeting point
Those who do not wish to make the return journey on foot can book an off-road transfer from the base camp.
