Explore the fascinating north coast of Sardinia with a unique SUP experience along the beautiful Bay of Balai, one of the most suggestive corners in the territory of Porto Torres. A guided excursion designed for those who want to experience the sea from a different perspective, slipping through hidden coves, sea caves and natural landscapes of rare beauty.
After an initial briefing, we start along the coast in the direction of the historic Church of San Gavino, among stories and curiosities related to the territory. You will then paddle to the east, along a stretch of clear and transparent sea, where you will observe incredible rock formations that house very suggestive and spectacular caves, such as the Grotta degli Innamorati and the Grotta Inferno.
You will reach the spectacular cliff with the Ponte rock, a natural rock arch that is reflected on the water. The guide will then take you to a hidden cove, where you will take a short aperitif break with a sea view, before returning.

ITINERARY
The route is approximately 3 km long and may vary depending on the weather conditions on the day.
You will meet our guide on the small beach at Balai
You will receive a brief explanation on how to use the SUP, and the guide will hand out the equipment for the tour (inflatable life jacket and waterproof bag)
The tour starts at around 9.30 am; you’ll head towards the Church of San Gavino, where the guide will share stories and interesting facts about the site
You’ll continue to the right, along the coast characterised by incredible rock formations, crystal-clear waters and seabeds to explore
Depending on the weather conditions, you will make several stops at the following points of interest: Acque Dolci beach, Grotta degli Innamorati and Grotta dell’Inferno
You will reach the cliff known as ‘il Ponte’ (the Bridge) due to the rock formation that spans the water
You will stop at a hidden cove where the guide will offer you a refreshing aperitif
