Live a unique food and wine experience at a farm in Fordongianus, in the province of Oristano.
Surrounded by the Mediterranean scrub and the scent of the Barigadu nature, here Giuseppe transforms the products of his land through traditional methods, but without neglecting innovation. During your journey he will tell you, with his signature passion, about the territory, his work and his experience.
You will spend two hours immersed in 140 hectares of unspoiled nature where you will discover all the secrets about life on the farm, accompanied by a tasting of the shepherd's six pecorinos for an experience full of curiosities and flavors.
The visit will begin with a welcome by Pastor Giuseppe, welcome and presentation of the farm.
The shepherd will tell you about his life from the 1960s to the present, the path from tradition to innovation and you will visit the dairy (processing room, brine room, smoking room, aging room) with an explanation of the 6 cheeses, from processing to aging, followed by tasting.
Afterwards there will be a tour of the area surrounding the farmhouse with an in-depth look at the Mediterranean scrub used in the production of some of the cheeses.
The experience will end with a visit to the farm's pastures and animals.
The tasting includes six types of cheeses and a glass of cannonau or carignano wine, depending on availability. Alternatives for intolerances, allergies or vegetarian and vegan solutions are not available.
Animals are allowed both outside and inside the facility, except in processing rooms or where food is handled.
