Experience the unique experience of sheep shearing on a farm in the village of Burgos in central Sardinia.
Here in the month of June, sheep are relieved of the warm wool by shearing, a very important activity from which also derives the art of weaving and the wonderful Sardinian carpets, made with the peculiar techniques that each village has by tradition. With the guide's help and directions, you will have the opportunity to try manual shearing. Before leaving the farm, the guide will take you on a tour of the farm where you will meet the other friendly farm animals and healthy tasting of farm products.
Don't miss the opportunity to experience firsthand the ancient tradition of shearing!
This will not be a visit to a simple farm, but you will learn about species from around the world in the Gallilandia chicken village and the Nuratide goose and duck village. You will also visit a replica of the area where the farm is located in the Goceano in Miniature exhibit.
The tasting includes farm products such as vegetables, cheese and bread, water and wine. In case of intolerances, allergies, and for vegetarian and vegan solutions, contact the number on the reservation voucher at least two days before the experience.
