Description

In the heart of Sardinia, a few km from Nuoro, you can live a whole day discovering a small but charming village called Lollove. With our local guides, you can experience the daily life of the ancient medieval village through its inhabitants, which are very few!
After a flourishing period lived in the fifties, the lack of the most basic comforts have encouraged a real depopulation; recently, however, the abandonment has been seen as an opportunity to be exploited in order to rewrite the future, creating a strong economy. 
After a historical and cultural visit of the village, you will take part in a traditional pasta workshop, followed by a delicious lunch with typical and local products. Get lost among the narrow streets characterized by an almost deafening silence, you will be fascinated and you can get to know an authentic aspect of the island, which is not only made of crystal clear sea and wonderful beaches!

Put your hands in the dough and prepare different types of traditional pasta, such as longhittos, domenicheddos, culurgiones and maccarrones, thanks to the mastery and mastery of three generations enclosed and made usable for you in a small laboratory. You will experience the freshness of the works later finding them in the lunch inside an inn

PROGRAM

  • 9:30 am: Welcome to the village (meeting at the entrance of the village)
  • 10:00 am: Guided cultural-historical tour of the village lasting 40 minutes. You will visit the church, the views and some places that have characterized the history of the village
  • 10:45 am: Workshop on the ancient Lollove pasta lasting 1 hour and a half
  • 12:15 pm: Aperitif at the Locanda Lollovers
  • 12:45 pm: Lunch 
  • 3:30 pm: Walk along the paths above the village to discover Binzas lasting 1 hour and a half
  • 5:00 pm: Greetings from the village

LUNCH

Lunch includes a traditional menu that varies due to the availability of the raw materials of the company and includes: five appetizers (selection of meats and cheeses, pancakes with endemic herbs, mix of fried and grilled vegetables, tripe with cherry tomatoes and mint, pork bites with artichokes); a first (typical pasta in mutton sauce); a second (roast pork); side dishes (seasonal vegetables); coffee, sweet and digestive.
