Mount Tiscali, in the centre of Sardinia, houses a mysterious settlement that has always fascinated its visitors. Come and explore it, to reach its top at 516 meters with a trekking excursion to dominate the entire valley of Lanaitto, nestled between the mountains of Supramonte di Oliena and Dorgali, gateway to the inner areas of the karst massif. The trail follows old traces of shepherds and mule tracks of charcoal burners, among the rugged and uncontaminated Supramonte, secular junipers and majestic examples of holm oak. Inside, among the lush vegetation, you will find a path built close to what remains of the ancient cave, which will take you to know and discover the remains of the archaeological settlement. Don’t miss this experience with our local guide!
After the meeting with the guide, you will make a transfer on board of Fuoristrada on a dirt road a few km up to the Valle di Lanaitto, place where the hike will begin.
The ring route will be between stony stones, passages on rocks and mule tracks, in a trek with archaeological, floristic, wildlife and landscape interests.
The excursion may be subject to changes due to adverse weather conditions
