HOTEL

The hotel is located in Monte Maccione at 800 meters on Mount Corrasi di Oliena, immersed in a centuries-old oak wood, from where numerous hiking trails start in the mythical places of Supramonte. Located in an enchanting, simple and welcoming location, ideal for those who love the environment, human relationships, archeology, traditions and good food.

17 rooms available: 3 with a single bed and a half that can be used as singles or as doubles. The remaining 14 are large and spacious, and can be prepared as double, twin, triple and quadruple.

Some have a terrace with a panoramic view of the valley and the surrounding mountains, others have only a panoramic view, others overlook the woods.

First day

• Arrival in Monte Maccione in the afternoon, accommodation in the room
• Transfer by off-road vehicle to Daddana, a thousand meters high from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valleys and mountains of Barbagia praised by Salvatore Satta on his "Il giorno del Giudizio"
• Aperitif at sunset with tasting of three wines from the most important Cantine del Nepente di Oliena. To enhance the particularity of each wine, you will taste some delicacies of the territory produced by the skilled hands of local artisans, with a combination of some wines from the Cantine di Oliena
• Typical dinner
• Overnight

Second day

• Trekking excursion in Monte Corrasi
• Cold lunch outdoors with local products
• Return to Maccione in the afternoon, goodbye coffee

EXPERIENCE

Departure by off-road vehicle for a guided excursion on foot to Mount Corrasi

Its appearance is characterized by sheer limestone walls, towers, white spiers, caves and wide plateaus, rugged and bare at the top, covered with holm oaks in the middle and adorned with olive trees, vines and almond trees downstream. Mount Corrasi is the highest peak of the vast and impervious Supramonte plateau, as well as one of the most evocative hills of the island. There are many paths that cross it and rise up to 1463 meters, they are a popular destination for trekking enthusiasts. From the ridge of Corrasi, you can admire spectacular views and a 360 degree panorama that reaches up to Nuoro, Orgosolo, Dorgali, up to the coast of Cala Gonone and Gennargentu
