This family-run business was born out of a passion for the art of making wine, handed down from generation to generation along with the farming values that characterise this land.
Historically, the land that hosts the vineyard has been a place of passage where shepherds would stop for a brief rest in the shade of thousand-year-old olive trees near a spring.
The house wines and oil are produced through traditional processes. The winery owns several indigenous vines, including Cannonau, a red grape vine characteristic of the island of Sardinia but especially of this area, and Vermentino, another white grape vine that is well known and appreciated internationally. The winery also has a part of land dedicated to Merlot.
The wine-making processes do not involve any filtration, and the minimum and indispensable quantity of sulphites is used, with levels below the threshold allowed in organic production.
The experience includes the tasting of extra virgin olive oil and wines accompanied by typical local specialities such as traditional bread with cured meats and local cheeses such as su frue.
