Exclusive 4x4 tour with a visit to the murals of Orgosolo and lunch by the shepherds in Supramonte

PROGRAM

• First stop with a visit to a beautiful tomb of the giants, to discover the secrets of the nuragic civilization
• Walk inside the Montes Forest, one of the wildest areas of Supramonte, to the top of Monte San Giovanni, at 1316 meters, where endemic floral rarities grow
• Typical Sardinian lunch at the ancient traditional sheepfold of the shepherd, called in Sardinian "Su Pinnetu", surrounded by a forest of ancient holm oaks
• After lunch, visit for an hour to learn about the famous murals for a guided tour: you will understand the importance and value of these wonderful works of art that tell the culture, the history of the country and Sardinia. The typical paintings in the facades of the country have made famous Orgosolo as a country-museum that, almost retracing the traditional art of Mexico, has made the country a fascinating and rich art with 300 mural paintings, a technique that brings with it an ancient history and the story of Sardinian customs

LUNCH

The typical lunch will be cooked and served directly by the shepherd and his family and includes: tastings of cold cuts and cheeses, boiled sheep and roast pig, Cannonau wine and Sardinian brandy.

Lunch will be paid directly on site, 300 € total. The 4WD excursion is exclusive, while during lunch you can share it with other participants.
