Mines in the blue is a journey, an adventure, a unique experience in the wildest Sardinia of the south-west coast. A 7-day tour perfect for those who love walking, landscapes and history. No special requirements are required because it is an experience suitable for everyone. It will be a total immersion in the territory of the Iglesiente, one of the most fascinating areas of the island. With departure and transfer from Cagliari, every day there will be a different stop, in magical places such as Piscinas, Scivu, Portixeddu, Buggerru, Nebida and many others, many far from the radar of mass tourism. Accommodation already organized in different structures and with some nights of bivouac under the stars! It is in fact a special experience to discover the abandoned mines (from which the tour takes its name) that have played an important role in Sardinian history and now remain as monuments of a recent archaeology set on the coast in places of extraordinary beauty. Ingurtosu - Piscinas - Scivu
The first stage of Miniere nel Blu runs from the hamlet of Ingurtosu through the mining area of Naraculi to the extensive desert of Piscinas. From Piscinas a long walk along the beaches of Scivu leads to the junction of the latter with Pischeredda. In Scivu will prepare the bivouac
Da Scivu - Portixeddu - Duna di San Nicolò
The second stage of Miniere nel Blu starts from the beach of Scivu and goes up the coastal area to the lookout of Arbus and then down through Managu and Su Tramatzu to Capo Pecora. From the cape you reach Portixeddu and the forest station continuing to the great dune of San Nicolao, the highest in all of Europe. Alla Duna will prepare the bivouac night
San Nicolò dune - Buggerru
The third stage of Miniere nel Blu starts from the Duna di San Nicolao and includes the ascent to the viewpoint of Bacchitt'e Montes (420 m). The path is in steep ascent and allows you to visit the ruins of the old abandoned mines and perhaps the ruins of the ancient "Metalla". From the viewpoint we return to Buggerru through the large open-air mine of Nanni Frau. In Buggerru we will stop for the night
Buggerru - Ovile Grand Canal
The third stage of Mines in the Blue starts from the town of Buggerru from where we will reach the limestone plateau of Planu Sartu passing through a picturesque mining area. We will then walk all the limestone cliffs until we reach Cala Domestica for lunch. From the beach we will go up and continue the trek on the cliff that will lead us from Grand Canal to the Ovile Sa Susuia

From the Ovile di Canal Grande we move westwards, taking the coastal path that leads us to the great Sugar Loaf Stack. We are getting closer and closer to Masua and we enjoy an ever closer view of the great rock called by the locals "Concali Su Terrainu". There will be a long descent towards the port of Masua then reaching the port of Bega Sa Canna, Masua Beach and Porto Cauli. In the afternoon you take the coastal path of great spectacularity that will allow you to discover Porto Corallo, Porto Ferro and Portu Banda. In the middle of the afternoon he will reach the viewpoint of Nebida, the final point of Miniere nel Blu
