Along this route through the Anglona region you will explore the village of Tergu with the basilica of Our Lady of Jericho and the archaeological remains of its ancient monastery of the Montecassino monks. The tour will continue through the rolling hills of Anglona, which alternate between pastures and cork forests, until you reach Sedini to stroll through the ancient alleys of the so-called 'village in the rock'. Here you will visit the beautiful Domus de janas, an ancient prehistoric burial place, enlarged and modified over the centuries to become a dwelling used today as an Ethnographic Museum. Continuing through unique scenery, surrounded by prehistoric remains, you will reach one of the most famous and special Domus de Janas in Sardinia, known for its original shape and for the Neolithic symbolism carved into its interior that recalls ancestral divinatory rites: La Roccia dell'Elefante (The Elephant Rock).
