Experience the aromas and flavors of wine on a farm in western Sardinia, more precisely in Massama, near Oristano.
Your visit will begin in the family's Vernaccia vineyard located on a picturesque estate, where you will learn about this ancient grape variety native to the province of Oristano, unique in its kind, which gives a still white wine with unique and characteristic aromas. Antonella, the sommelier, will tell you about young and aged Vernaccia, its particular production, its differences and how best to pair it. The visit will continue in the ancient structure of the farm where the tasting of this particular wine, Vermentino and Cannonau will follow and you will be taught how to match them with traditional Sardinian dishes.
You will live an experience among authentic flavors that tell the wine tradition of the beautiful Tirso valley.
The farm was founded in 1857 and is a historical enterprise recognized by Unioncamere. The late 19th-century structure surrounded by green meadows and organic orchards has exposed stonework redeveloped according to landscape standards. Here tradition has been carried on for five generations by cultivating and processing raw materials to bring them to the table for authentic sensory experiences.
The tasting includes two glasses of Vernaccia Doc di Oristano, one glass of Vermentino di Sardegna Doc and one glass of Cannonau di Sardegna Doc, paired with 4 delicious typical dishes. Solutions for allergies, intolerances and vegetarian and vegan alternatives are available, subject to notification to the number on the reservation voucher at least two days before the experience.
Pets are allowed on leashes both outside and inside the facility, with the exception of processing rooms or where food is handled, as long as they are of docile disposition.
