Experience a full-day quad bike ride through the rugged mountains of the Sardinian Supramonte, departing from Orgosolo! You will reach the thousand-year-old forest of holm oaks of Sas Baddes, within which stands the Nuraghe Mereu, which you will reach with a short trek. From its summit you can admire the wonderful panorama overlooking the Gorropu Gorge, a deep canyon that marks the border between the municipalities of Orgosolo and Urzulei. On the way back you will stop for a packed lunch in one of the many pinnetti, ancient pastoral buildings in the shape of a hut used as a shelter. Then you will return to the Quad to reach Su Disterru, karst chasm, and on the way back another characteristic destination is the Monte Novo San Giovanni, a natural monument with a height of 1326 meters reachable through a short path. The latter is the most panoramic point in the territory of Orgosolo and just arrived at the top you can make a stop to admire the landscape with a good glass of local wine and then descend to the source of the river Cedrino, Funtana Bona, where you can refresh yourself before returning to the village. Back in Orgosolo, you will take a small panoramic tour through the characteristic alleys to admire the most famous murals. What are you waiting for? Book Now!
