Just past Cargeghe, in the north-west of Sardinia, along the provincial road that leads to Florinas, you can see on the right an imposing rock formation that dominates the valley, it is a plateau where there is one of the most beautiful via ferrata of northern Sardinia: the Via Ferrata of Giorrè.
A fairly demanding via ferrata, both for the journey times (about 3/4 hours) and for the exposure of the passages (we are in fact at important altitudes on slightly overhanging walls), but which offers dreamlike views and will make you live unique experiences. In fact, for this reason, it is a path that remains in the heart for the beauty and the emotions that everyone lives during its journey.
With an experienced local guide, you’ll have a day to remember, book conveniently online and embark on an adventure!
The excursion can also be made by those who do not have previous experience of hiking in vie ferrate.
In the months of April and May, a section of the ferrata is usually closed to allow the nesting of the local fauna, but most of the ferrata is always passable.
The day before the date of your excursion, you must contact our guide at the phone number present in the booking voucher for confirmation of the meeting time, which may vary depending on the weather conditions
The snack offered during the experience includes typical Sardinian cakes and coffee
The meeting point is at the Via Ferrata of Giorrè where you will find in small parking, but no service being in the open countryside
